These are real mobile homes for sale right now that must be moved off the land they sit on. Most sit on private property where the landowner is keeping the land and selling the home. You buy the home, arrange licensed transport, and set it up on your own lot or in a park that accepts move-ins. This list comes straight from our MLS listings and updates automatically, so if a home shows here, it is still available.

What to know before you buy a mobile home that has to be moved

  • Transport is the big cost. Moving a single wide in Florida usually runs $5,000 to $10,000 including permits, escorts, and setup. Double wides run more because they move in two sections. Get a transport quote before you make an offer.
  • Check your destination first. Counties have rules about the age of homes they allow in, and parks have their own approval standards. Confirm your lot or park will accept the home before you commit.
  • These homes are priced to account for the move. That is why must-be-moved homes often cost less than a comparable home already set up in a park.

Who usually buys these homes

Landowners who want a ready-to-go home for their property, park owners filling vacant lots, and investors who move and resell them. If you own land in Florida and want a home on it, buying a must-be-moved home is often the fastest and least expensive way to get one.
